Kinsloe House is pleased to welcome Mike Farris, author and Professor of Political Science at UTA for an informative presentation.
In his presentation, The Federalist vs. the Anti‑Federalist: What They Wanted in the Constitution and What We Got, Farris will explore one of the most defining debates in early American history.
This educating program highlights the enduring tension between centralized authority and individual liberties, offering a clear and engaging look at how these competing ideas still echo in modern political and civic life.
Drawing on his background in law, research, and writing, Farris will guide attendees through the contrasting visions held by the Federalists and Anti‑Federalists during the founding era. Mike will examine the principles each group championed, the compromises that shaped the final Constitution, and how those early arguments continue to influence American governance today.
Join us for an afternoon of history, insight, and meaningful discussion at Kinsloe House.
NOTE: There will be a Board of Directors Meeting following the program.
