The House of Refuge provides a safe faith-based environment for displaced women and their children, with the goal of helping women become self-sufficient as they transition into permanent housing.

Joann will share the mission, progress, and heartfelt stories behind one of Corsicana’s most impactful outreach efforts. Joann will discuss how the program offers not only shelter, but also guidance, resources, and encouragement that help residents rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Attendees will learn about recent developments, community partnerships, and the growing needs the House of Refuge seeks to meet within Navarro County.

This meaningful program highlights the power of compassion in action and the difference a dedicated team can make in the lives of neighbors seeking a fresh start. Join us for an inspiring afternoon as we explore how The House of Refuge continues to be a place of healing, restoration, and new beginnings.

The House of Refuge offers the hope found in in Philippians 4:13 which says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
