Navarro College Music Program

As Chair of the Music Department at the College, Dr. Buckrucker assists in the instruction and rehearsals of multiple chamber ensembles and academic music major programs, including the College Marching Band, with up to 135 students, a Pep Band, the Concert Band of 80 members and two separate Jazz Ensembles plus Flute, Clarinet and Bass Chamber.

At Kinsloe House, we’ll enjoy one of the Jazz Ensembles, a program dedicated to the study and performance of the uniquely American art form of jazz and comprised of students who have a passion and love of performing, writing, and learning about this great music.“

JB” Buckrucker holds degrees in Music Education and Soloist Performers, a master’s degree in music performance, and a Doctorate in Music Education. Corsicana is lucky to have him, and Kinsloe House is blessed to have him spend time with us.
