Dr. Amanda Hughes, Navarro College Professor of Piano, shares her journey through piano & purpose.
Born with an extraordinary ear and a natural command of the keyboard, Dr. Hughes was recognized early as a musical prodigy. Her childhood was shaped by rigorous practice, transformative mentors, and competitions that pushed her to refine both technique and artistry.
Today, as a respected professor, she nurtures the next generation of pianists with the same passion that fueled her own development.
This luncheon program offers a rare opportunity to hear how a life devoted to music evolves—how talent becomes discipline, discipline becomes mastery, and mastery becomes a calling to guide others.
We look forward to seeing you there!
